Book Review: Love's Sweet Beginning by Ann Shorey

Cassie Haddon was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but after her father and fiance both meet untimely deaths, that spoon is yanked away for good. Finding herself and her mother with no means of supporting themselves, and no skills to even try, Cassie is at a loss.
After exhausting the patience and goodwill of family and friends, Cassie finds work at a local restaurant. Since she has never worked a day in her life, Cassie must go above and beyond to convince her boss, Jacob that she is what he and his business have been missing.

This is the third book in the sister's at heart series. I think it would stand well by itself, but it does contain characters from previous books which makes the story richer once you know that. I had actually forgotten that I had read the second book and was pleasantly surprised to meet up with old "friends" again. I read this one super fast - although the story is set in a small town, there is a lot of suspense and drama and I found myself turning page after page. It really is a sweet story!

Thank you so much to Revell Publishers for a free book to review.
