MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Christmas Morning

These are the presents Santy brought us :-) Thanks Caffrey's for the robe (Karen) and the drill (Jonathan)! You're very good at picking out presents!!! ;-)

Christmas at the Eide's

We travelled down to the Eide's last weekend to see Kevin and Stephanie perform in their Christmas church program. Kevin, as the inn-keeper, stunned the audience with his superb acting (he projects very well), and Stephanie, as the inn-keeper's wife, wowed us with her performance. They did a great job.

The trip was a surprise to Wayne, who nearly had a heart attack. We had a great dinner and enjoyed opening gifts with them all. Load's of fun!

Look at Frosty Go!

The worst thing about snow - leaving the house! Here is a little view of Jonathan going to work...I think he might be a bit late today!

Thanksgiving Turkeys!

I found these three weird looking guys on the way home from Thanksgiving in Indiana. I thought the one in the middle was kind of cute - ha ha! Just kidding! We had a great time with the family over Thanksgiving - lots of great food and fellowship. Karen got whopped in a game of Risk but she fought 'till the last man died (which was okay because it was about time to eat more turkey by then!) We went shopping on Friday (yes we are crazy) and had a pretty profitable day. Jonathan tasted every sample the mall had to offer and we were able to get quite a few pressies. Then we went back to Jonathan's aunt's house for round three of turkey and said our goodbyes. It's hard to imagine that next year our 9 month old son will be with us!!
Now it's back to normal life again - at least for a little while :)

Maggie

This is Karen's brother's new dog Maggie. I just thought she was so cute I'd show everyone. Give it a few weeks for her to grow and chew everything in the house and I am sure she will not seem so cute anymore ;)
This weekend we went to our childbirth preparation class. We are now experts at breathing :)
We are off to Indiana for Thanksgiving on Wednesday. My next doctor's appointment is the Monday after. Pretty much I am sure I will break the scales after all that Turkey and other yummy food!! I can't wait!

Lovely weather we're having!

On Wednesday I was just thinking how nice the weather was - I could go outside without a coat on and it was lovely and sunny. Friday all of a sudden we get a weird snow/thunder storm that dumped this lovely sight on us. There were even snowmen around for a while. Thought our friends in warmer climates would enjoy remembering Wisconsin's great climate!

Go to sleep...

Last night at about 10 o'clock we decided to start putting together the baby's crib. Two hours later we we finally finished. Now the only question is...where on earth do we put the thing 'til we need it? We still have about 88 days till the baby is due but they are definitely going by quickly. Our apartment is starting to look like the kids department in a store!
Next week is our child birth class at the hospital and then Thanksgiving...time flies when you're having fun!

6 Months Pregnant!

How much is that doggie in the window?

How can I not put a picture of the cutest coat ever on our blog. It even has a little tail on the backside! There is no way way our baby can not look adorable in this thing! Only three months now until our son will be born. Right now he is having a great time kicking and wiggling all around making Karen's belly wiggle all around too! Praise the Lord that we are so fearfully and wonderfully made!

Corn Maze Fun

This past weekend we took our third annual trip to the greatest corn maze in all of Wisconsin (the world?) in Lodi. Of course, the only way to do this thing is in the dark!

Our team was me, Karen, and Jason. I think we did pretty well, considering we had a flashlight that died, an incorrect map piece, and a pregnant woman. We didn't come in first, but we made it out - which is pretty good without a map or light! And actually, Karen was a great sport! She kept the pace going a lot faster than I thought she would!!! We may have come in second place (there was a small discrepancy about us coming out one of the "entrances" instead of the "exit" - hey, out is out, right?) Cara's team won :-( but THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR...

Wait - next year our team will have a pregnant woman AND a stroller. Oh, we can still take 'em.

Orchard Fun

Last Saturday, we drove to Apple Holler in southern Wisconsin. We had a great time finding and tasting different types of apples and wandering through the pumpkin patches. Then we carved our finding into a pretty scary character!

Finally

Well, after working for a long time on our website, we are having so much trouble getting it up and running, I thought Iw ould at least put up a temporary blog until we can work out the kiks from the other one. Hope it helps keep everyone up to date on what is going on in the Harrison world :)
