Just some pics

Grandma and Grandpa Harrison are here for a visit...these are just some pics from today that turned out cute. It's funny how when you're around babies you tend to mimic their faces. Look at dad and grandpa...

House Pics

Okay so here are some pictures of our house. It's still a little bare - we are saving for some paintings and decorations (and new curtains...). I'll put some pics of the bedroom after we decorate a bit. Not much to show right now. Make sure you check out Aisy's blog...they put new baby pics up and they are soooo cute!

So Big!!!

Eóin is getting so big that we had to upgrade from his baby swing to a highchair! In fact today we went out to eat and he was able to sit in the highchair at the restaurant. It was so nice to have our hands free and for Eóin to be able to look around and play with his toys and more interesting things like my napkin :) Here are some pictures I took this morning...I couldn't decide which one I liked the best...

I think maybe we should have named him "Spike"!

Couple of Videos

So for a while now, Eóin has been super good at going to bed. He realizes now that he has no say in the matter so better just go to sleep. The other day I put him down and it was nice and quiet for about 15 minutes so I thought he was asleep. Then I hear little squeaks coming from his room so I went to investigate...

5 months!

Eóin is 5 months old today! Wow - he has grown so much in these last few months. Already he can just about sit up by himself (then he looks around too much and loses his balance!), eats cereal, and has developed his own little personality - he is well able to throw a temper tantrum too! Most of the time though he a happy baby, laughs easily and keeps us amused for hours! What a gift from God our little boy is.

This picture would be way cuter without the stupid toy in the way but it's still a cute smile :)

One of the advantages to sitting up - you can reach your toes...until you get older that is...

Random Pics

We didn't take any pics on the 4th but Eóin really enjoyed the fireworks. Here you can buy the big fireworks so we didn't even have to go to a show - just drive through neighbourhoods! We did go over to some friends houses and played some games and then watched their fireworks - it was a good time.

Here are some random pictures. Now that Eóin is pretty good at sitting up (he just needs someone to hold his hips) he is not such a big fan of lying down so here is my makeshift seat so he can watch me clean :) Not sure where he'll sit when I need to do laundry though! The other pics are of the outfit Aunty Cara got for him but I took a picture because it probably won't fit anymore by the time she sees him again.

Food Glorious Food!

Yay - we have internet again! It has been a long few days of "bloglessness." We have had quite a few milestones these last few days. Eóin rolled over all by himself yesterday mostly by accident but it was still fun :)

He has been eagerly watching every bite of food that we eat now for a few weeks hoping we'll share. So...we decided to let him try some rice cereal. He did a great job for his first time and managed to swallow a few spoonfuls. Then he decided he wanted to play and got it everywhere - we had great fun. Thanks to Margaret Hall for sending the best bibs ever - they cover his entire upper body so I wasn't worried about the mess. Here he is - happy as a pig in muck!

On another note, Jonathan began his job today at Ricoh Business Solutions. He is joining their sales department, but since their sales force is merging right now with another company's sales force (Lanier - the company that originally hired Jonathan), there's a bit of confusion around the office(s). So far, though, he is enjoying everything and meeting new people!
